Who we are

s0v.xyz is operated by ProSolve Ltd. ProSolve Ltd is a company registered in England & Wales under company number 13955695, with its registered office at 483 Green Lanes, London, England, N13 4BS.

For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, ProSolve Ltd is the data controller responsible for any personal data processed through this site. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over your information.

02

What this site does

s0v.xyz is a threat-intelligence visualisation: a globe showing recent attack activity observed by third-party honeypot networks. The IP addresses, geolocations, and attack counts displayed on the globe and in the live feed belong to machines attacking honeypot sensors around the world — they are not visitor data and have no connection to you or your device.

The attack data is fetched by our own server-side API route, which queries HoneyDB (honeydb.io) for honeypot activity and ip-api.com to geolocate the attacking IP addresses. These requests happen entirely server-to-server: your IP address, browser details, and visit are never sent to HoneyDB or ip-api.com.

03

Information we collect

This site has no accounts, no forms, and collects almost nothing:

  • Hosting logs — Vercel, our hosting provider, processes server request logs (including IP addresses) inherent to serving any website.
  • Analytics — aggregated, anonymised site-usage data collected via Vercel Analytics, only if you have given consent via the cookie banner (see Section 5).
  • Consent record — your cookie-banner choice, stored only in your own browser's localStorage (see Section 5). It never leaves your device.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use advertising pixels, retargeting networks, session-recording tools, or social-media tracking buttons.

04

Third-party services

We engage the following third parties. Only Vercel ever processes visitor data, and analytics only runs with your consent.

  • Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina CA 91723, USA) — website hosting and infrastructure. Vercel processes server request logs inherent to hosting. Additionally, if you consent to analytics, Vercel Analytics collects aggregated, anonymised usage data (pages visited, referrer, browser type). No persistent cookies are set by Vercel Analytics; data is not used for advertising. International transfer basis: Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • HoneyDB (honeydb.io) — source of honeypot attack data. Contacted only by our server, using our own API credentials. No visitor data is sent.
  • ip-api.com — geolocation of attacking IP addresses from the HoneyDB feed. Contacted only by our server. No visitor data is sent.
05

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no HTTP cookies of its own. The only thing we store in your browser is your cookie-banner choice, kept in localStorage under the key s0v_cookie_consent.

Vercel Analytics loads only if you click “Accept all”. You can change your preference at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer, or read more in our Cookie Policy.

06

Data retention

We do not hold visitor personal data ourselves. Hosting logs are retained by Vercel for a short period as part of operating the platform. Analytics data, where consented, is aggregated and not linked to identifiable individuals. Your consent choice remains in your browser until you clear it or use the Cookie settings link.

07

International transfers

Our hosting provider Vercel may process data in the United States and other jurisdictions. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we ensure an appropriate safeguard is in place — such as an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses — so that your data receives an equivalent level of protection.

08

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request erasure of your data where there is no overriding reason to retain it.
  • Object to or restrict processing in certain circumstances.
  • Request portability of data you have provided to us.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk.
